Wednesday the Juniata girls soccer team  outlasted Susquenita 4-3 in Tri-Valley action.

The Indians Amelia Smith scored off a corner kick.

“She played a great ball in over the top and it was deflected off a Susquenita defender into the goal trying to clear it as it was going in far post,” said Juniata coach Laresa Paden.

Amelia Smith received a ball and took a few touches before taking a shot from the top right corner of the 18 and tucked it far post.

Haley Mummah dribbled down the left sideline and crossed a ball in to find Ashlyn’s feet making a run through the center of the box to tuck it in past the keeper.

Mummah sent another cross in after creating space for herself down the left sideline after beating her defender to find Victory Frantz making a run to finish the last goal . 

Hailey Kepner finished with nine saves.
