Bellefonte High School girls had a very good day on the home course. Both Addison Fry and Natalie Jolley broke the course record time with their races. Fry, who won the race, is now the new course record holder with her winning time of 21:41.  Jolley was right behind with her second place finish with a time of 21:55. Emma Burger placed 7th in the race with a time of 25:05 and teammate Anna Tyson came in 11th with a time of 26:22. Alexis Fravel 26:51 was 12th and Ruthann Smoyer 29:18 placed 17th. Our girls team just came up short by one point against Bellwood-Antis, but took home a win over Bald Eagle. The girls start the season 1-1, but there is nothing to hang our heads down about. We had a very good day and I know they all are going to continue getting better and faster.

Bellefonte boys start the season 2-0 with their race today. Kaiden Williams scored his first varsity race win today with a time of 19:04. Freshman Jonathan Gasper ran to a second place finish with a time of 19:08. Teammates Maverick Muchmore and Elijah Davis placed 4th and 5th in the race. Their times were 19:22 and 20:39. Kaiden Musser placed 21st helping complete the wins over Bald Eagle and Bellwood-Antis. Our Boys ran exactly what was asked for them to do today. It is very encouraging to see the boys run the way that they do.
