
Mifflin County was on the road this evening taking on the Patriots from Red Land.
The JV dropped a close first set, losing 21-25, before storming back to defeat the Patriots in set two and three, by winning 25-16 and 15-9. The group saw strong performances from everyone. Jayda Thomas led the Huskies with a team high seven aces and seven assists while also adding five digs. Emma Hartzler, Lily Curry and Adyen Long each tallied three kills on the night. Jovi Bush contributed four kills and led the team with ten digs. Lily Curry and Briah Moore each chipped in six and seven digs in the contest.
The Varsity played well but ultimately fell just short, losing in three sets (21-25, 20-25 and 17-25). Kate Hartzler led the Huskies with six kills while Leah Hartzler and Ella Hartzler each added four. Leah and Ella also had five and four blocks respectively. Jamilee Gilbert dished out twelve assists, two aces and a block, while Rylie Kahley and Ella each added two aces. Rylie led the defensive effort with a team high nine digs while Adisyn Lyles and Emily Porch added eight and seven respectively.
The Huskies are back home on Monday to face Trinity High School.
