The Appalachian Mountain LM Speedweek Is Back in 2024

The Appalachian Mountain Late Model Speedweek returns for a second straight season this June with 8 races at 8 different tracks in 10 days. Each of those races will pay a minimum of $5000 to win and the two-week series will award $5000 to the champion.
In approximately two months the 2024 version of Appalachian Mountain Speedweek will be underway. “We were so thrilled with the overwhelmingly positive response in 2023 that we can’t wait to do it again,” stated Jim Bernheisel, series director.  “The successful formula we utilized will again be used.”
All tracks from 2023 are returning and BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven, PA has signed on to anchor the 2024 schedule. The minimum winner’s purse has been increased to $5,000.00 with $500.00 to take the green.  The middle of the purse has been raised as well as the point fund and loyalty Money has been added.
The series kicks off the Speedweek action on Friday, June 7 at Clinton County Speedway.
The first half of the series moves to Port Royal Speedway, on Saturday night, June 8, and then the tour moves just south of the Mason-Dixon line to Hagerstown (MD) Speedway on Sunday, June 9. After taking Monday off, they move to Path Valley Speedway Park on Tuesday, June 11.
Wednesday is the final Speedweek Off day, as the second half is slated to get underway on Thursday, June 12, at Selinsgrove Speedway. Up next is the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway on Friday night, June 14 and Lincoln Speedway is back on Saturday night, June 15. It all wraps up with the earlier mentioned finale on Sunday at BAPS.
Driver registration is $50 per event at the track on each race night. But now through May 10, drivers can register for the entire 8-race series for $300. This discounted, full-series registration can be done totally through MyRacePass’s Appalachian Mountain Speedweek page or by completing the entry form on the Appalachain Mountain Speedweek website and mailing a check to the address indicated.
