Juniata falls late against Newport

 

It was a disappointing night for the Juniata Indians’ baseball team as they fell victim of a walk off 3-2 loss to Newport Thursday.

Both teams were knotted at two going into the bottom of the seventh.

Newport’s Landon Zaring doubled to score teammate Ruben Moreno for the victory.

Cam Bargo finished as the Indians lone multiple hitter going 2-for-2.

Others picking up hits for the Indians were Daylyn Kennedy and Wyatt Stoner.

Picking up the win for Newport was Aden Banks while Carson Kepner took the loss.
