MC golfers finish second at Valley Green
The MIfflin County golf team competed today at Valley Green golf course, the home of Cedar Cliff. MC finished 2nd on the day, losing to Mechanicsburg, and beating Palmyra, Red Land, Bishop McDevitt, Carlisle, and Cedar Cliff. The Huskies was lead on the day by Colby Seiler, who shot a season low score of 75, which was good for medalist honors (1st place overall). Evan Breon fired a 79 which was good for a tie for 6th place overall. Jackson Flood contributed a score of 82, which placed tied for 13th overall. Jacob Bauman rounded out the scoring with a season low score of 84 which was tied for 19th place overall. Mifflin County shot a team score of 320, which breaks a 12-year low score mark for Huskies golf. Bryson Hughes also fired a personal best score of 79 today.
Mifflin County went 5-1 on the day and now stands at 32-12 on the season overall and 30-12 in the Mid Penn Keystone Division. This was the final mid penn match of season and MC clinched a 2nd place overall standing in the division. The Huskies are back in action tomorrow at Lewistown Country Club against Bellefonte.
