Juniata volleyball takes Millersburg to brink, falls in five
Thursday, the Juniata volleyball team found themselves in a shoot out in their contest against Millersburg.
The Indians put up a good fight but fell 3-2 (19-25,15-25,25-23, 25-17, 3-15).
Facing the brink of being swept in three matches, Juniata pounded their way back into the contest, winning the following two, sending it to a fifth and deciding game.
However, the courageous comeback effort fell a little short as Millersburg took the final match 15-3.
“I’ve never been prouder of my team. They fought so hard and left everything out on the floor,” said Juniata coach Layne Greenholt. “We just came up a little short tonight.”
