Yoder: McVeytown Wins Over Terrace

MCVEYTOWN – The McVeytown Eagles defeated the Terrace Tigers in CKYFCL Peewee division football action this past Sunday afternoon. Here are some of the highlights.

After taking the ball during the opening kickoff, the Eagles scored on a 41 yard run from Stetson Bordell.

Knox Hartman then took his turn and hustled down the field to complete a 26 yard touchdown run.

Maddox Sunderland launched a rocket over to the hands of Bordell who then went 40 yards for the score.

Weston Dobson found himself into the endzone after running for 10 yards. Sunderland then went 50 yards for a touchdown.

Layton Yoder had a fumble recovery as well as a sack in the game. Triton Moist also had a sack and the game and McVeytown had some contributions from Jackson Smith and Luke Moist.

McVeytown travels to face Kish while Terrace will host the Burnham Bulldogs. Both games will be on Sunday.
