Juniata falls to Halifax in 2-1 thriller

The Juniata boys soccer team had a thrilling contest Monday versus Halifax.
The Indians battled throughout but fell to Halifax in a 2-1 TVL nail biter.
Juniata scored first at 30:21 when
Daniel Lopez posted a goal thanks to an assist by Anthony Maradiaga.
At 2:56, Halifax tied the game at one, heading into the intermission tied at one.
Halifax would score the final goal of the game at 25:08.
From there, the Wildcats were able to hold on for the 1-goal victory.
Shots on Goal were led by Juniata by a 12-10 margin. The Indians also held the advantage in corner opportunities by a 13-3 effort.
Juniata goalie Nolan Imes finished with 11 saves.
