Mifflin County battled Palmyra High School

Mifflin County traveled to Palmyra High School to take on the Cougars this evening.

JV lost the match in two sets, losing 23-25 and 10-25. The team started off strong and were up towards the end of the first set, but the Huskies were unable to side out and stop the strong serving of Palmyra. Briah Moore and Adyen Long led the Huskies on defense with four digs each. Jayda Thomas led the offense with six kills and four assists, while Lily Curry chipped in four assists. Olivia Bedlyon led the team with three aces.

The Varsity team struggled to find a rhythm and lost the match in three sets, losing 15-25, 15-25 and 13-25. Lily Curry led the offense with six assists and two aces, while Adisyn Lyles added four assists and two aces as well. Leah and Kate Hartzler each chipped in three kills apiece.

The team is back at it on Wednesday evening taking on Lower Dauphin at home.
