Bald Eagle Area girls top Penn Cambria

Two for two!
The Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team has won their last two matches as they defeated Penn Cambria 2-0 on Saturday.
Penn Cambria led in corners by a 5-2 margin and 13-10 in shots on goal.
“What a gritty performance. PC put quite a bit of pressure on us in the first half, but Savanna Albright fed a nice through ball to Addie Tice and she buried it to give us a 1-0 lead going into the half,” said Bald Eagle Area Coach Jared Moore. “The girls ground out a win. It was a tough second half and Savanna came through again, picking off a clearance in the PC end and blasting one home from 25 yards out. The defense was great tonight, led by Cami Walker in goal. She made some key saves when we needed them. This was a great team win.”
Addison Tice led off the game scoring by Savanna Albright at 30:29.
Albright posted the final goal of the game on an unassisted goal at 64:41.
Bald Eagle Area goalie Cami Walker finished with 13 saves.
BEA improves its record to 3-9-1.
Next Game for the Lady Eagles will be Tuesday against Hollidaysburg.
