Mifflin County falls to Trinity in Monday night action

Mifflin County hosted Trinity High School this evening.

The JV started out slow and dropped the first set 11-25. They regrouped and fought hard to take set two, winning 26-24. The Huskies then finished the match strong and took set three, winning 15-11. Lily Curry and Jayda Thomas led the offense with four and three assists each. Jovi Bush added four kills and four digs. Ayden Long led the group with three aces while Briah Moore led the defense with five digs.

The Varsity fought hard in set one but ultimately fell short, losing in three sets (18-25, 9-25 and 11-25). Kate Hartzler led the office with three kills while Ella Hartzler and Brooke Wray also chipped in two. Jamilee Gilbert added six assists while Rylie Kahley was a solid presence on serve receive and Amilia Green added five digs.

The Huskies are back home on Wednesday, hosting Juniata Valley on Senior Night.
