Huskies Dominate Lower Dauphin, Pitch 35-0 Shutout Victory

Hummelstown, PA — The Mifflin County freshman football team delivered a commanding performance Wednesday night, shutting out Lower Dauphin 35-0 on the road. The win improves the Huskies’ record to 3-2 on the season, fueled by a relentless defense and a balanced offensive attack.
Leading the charge on the defensive side of the ball was Brody Hower, who had a standout game by forcing three turnovers—snagging one interception and recovering two fumbles. The defense was aggressive and opportunistic all night, with Cohen Leister returning an interception for a touchdown and Bentley Wyland scooping up a fumble recovery to keep the Falcons off the scoreboard.
The Huskies’ offense was just as impressive, led by quarterback Rowan Deamer, who found the end zone both on the ground and through the air. Deamer’s versatility and poise helped keep the Lower Dauphin defense off balance throughout the contest.
Also contributing to the offensive outburst were Cohen Leister and Bentley Felmlee, each adding touchdowns of their own to cap off a complete team performance.
With momentum on their side, the Huskies will look to continue their winning ways next Wednesday when they host Gettysburg at 4:00 p.m
