Bellefonte boys XC team sweeps competition

On Thursday, the Bellefonte Varsity Boys defeated Penn Cambria 15-50 and topped Somerset 23-33 and Central 19-42 in cross country action.

Maverick Muchmore led the way for Bellefonte in first in 17:39 followed by Jonathan Gasper in 17:51. Rounding out the top 7 were Gunther Kull in 18:33, Ethan Karmelita in 19:56, Kaidem Musser in 20:42, Braeden Strohm in 20:44 and Phoenix Torres in 21:40.

On the girls side, the Bellefonte Varsity Girls fell in a close match against Penn Cambria 29-27, fell to Somerset 40-18 and defeated Central 15-50.

Natalie Jolley led the way for Bellefonte finishing 4th in 20:54. Rounding out the top 6 were Emily Moretz in 24:15, Haddie Lutz in 25:01, Aaylin 26:06, Megan Showers in 27:16 and Molly Showers in 27:17.
