Mifflin County volleyball falls to Penns Valley in home finale

Mifflin County hosted Penns Valley for their last home game of the season this evening.

 

JV fell in two sets 20-25 and 17-25. Jayda Thomas led the Huskies’ offense with 5 aces and two kills. Briah Moore and Ayden Long led the defensive effort with four digs each while Lily Curry, Jovi Bush and Jayada each added three.

 

Varsity lost the first two sets, 14-25 and 9-25, and fought hard in the third before ultimately falling 24-26. Kate Hartzler led the offense with five kills while Ella Hartzler and Adisyn Lyles each added four and three kills respectively. Jamilee Gilbert had six assists while Lily Curry added four. Emily Porch had a team high nine digs with Amilia Green adding eight. Leah Hartzler had a team high six blocks.

 

The team travels to Mount Union for their final game of the season tomorrow evening
