Bald Eagle Area Eagles Take Lead And Never Look Back In Win Over Moniteau Warriors

Bald Eagle Area won big over Moniteau 10-1 on Thursday.
The Eagles opened the scoring in the third after a steal of home scored one run, which helped the Warriors tie the game at one in the top of the fourth.
A double by Westin McClain gave Bald Eagle Area the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the fourth.
The Eagles scored five runs on two hits in the bottom of the sixth inning. Tayten Yoder tripled, scoring two runs, Brayden Dubbs singled, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs.
McClain earned the win for the Eagles. They allowed three hits and one run (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one. Dawson Cook took the loss for the Warriors. The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering five runs (four earned) on eight hits, striking out one and walking one.
The Eagles amassed 10 hits in the game. Kahale Burns, Yoder, Dubbs, and Gavin Burns each collected two hits for Bald Eagle Area. Yoder and Kaden Burns each drove in three runs. Carson Nagle paced the Eagles with two walks.
Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up six walks for the game. Bald Eagle Area ran wild on the base paths, amassing five stolen bases for the game. Bald Eagle turned one double play in the game.
Dawson Wallace, James Gillen, and Keagan Book each collected one hit for the Warriors.
