Attivo tosses one-hitter en route to Huskies opening day victory

HARRISBURG – Starting off the season in style.
Mifflin County pitcher Aidan Attivo had his stuff working early and often Monday as he pitched a one-hitter in the Huskies’ baseball team’s first outing of the year.
Not only did Attivo’s one hitter come in his team’s first game but also on the road in a tough atmosphere.
His team helped out to give Attivo the win as well, posting a 3-0 victory over Central Dauphin.
Leading the offense on the night was Reese Christine with a 2RBI afternoon. Both RBIs came via a fielders choice.
Mifflin County scored two in the first inning and added a third run in the second.
In the first, it was Christine’s 2RBI fielders choice that put the Huskies out in front.
Adding an insurance run in the second was Madden Weaver’s fielders choice, scoring Jayden Smith.
From there it was enough for Attivo to pitch his game en route to the victory.
