Back to their winning ways; MC golf wins again!!

Mifflin County golf was back in action today at Palmyra’s Iron Valley golf course. With 1 hole remaining to play, rain and thunderstorms caused us to clear the course. Because the match did not finish all 18 holes, we had to resort to 10 common holes played to determine a winner. MC came out on top with a score of 218. Owen Wise and Alex Kline both had scores of 53 through 10 holes. Bradyn Eversole had 54, and Tanner Ferguson contributed with a 58. With the win, MC went 6-0 on the day, and now stand at 36-4 on the season overall and 33-3 in Mid Penn Conference Play. The win today, aslo pulled MC into a 1st place tie with Mechanicsburg for the Keystone Division title. MC is back in action with one final regular season match on Monday at Mechanicsburg, where the division title will be decided.

Mifflin County – 218. 6-0

Mechanicsburg – 220. 5-1

Bishop McDevitt – 220 (lost tiebreaker). 4-2

Palmyra – 234. 3-3

Red Land – 239. 2-4

Carlisle – 254. 1-5
