Bald Eagle and Central girls play to a stalemate

Thursday night, the Bald Eagle girls soccer team traveled to Martinsburg to face Central.

The game was never to be decided as both teams failed to get a goal past the other, finishing in a 0-0 two overtime contest.

“We didn’t come out strong but kicked it in gear and it was back and forth all game,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore. “Having a goal called back is tough for any team, but the girls were resilient and kept playing hard.”

Central outshot Bald Eagle 14-5 and led in corners 11-8.

Mackenzie Vozniak led the way in goal for the Lady Eagles with 11 saves.

BEA Record: 7-4-2 overall, 5-4-2 Mountain League.

Bald Eagle’s next game is versus Tyrone Monday 10/19.
