Bald Eagle girls fall to Central

Tuesday, the Bald Eagle Area girls soccer went up against a tough Central team in a Laurel Highlands match up.
It would be a tough battle but in the end, the Scarlet Dragons would come out with the 3-1 victory.
Bald Eagle goalie Cami Walker finished with 21 saves.
“ Cami Walker was outstanding tonight in goal for us. She made diving save after diving save. Central is a good team and moved the ball well on us and kept pressure on us all game,” said Bald Eagle Area coach Jared Moore. “If we could have held possession a little more it would have made a difference tonight.”
Central led in shots on goal by a 24-4 mark and in corner opportunities by a 6-1 margin.
Central posted the first three goals of the contest.
The Lady Eagles refused to go down without a fight as Savanna Albright scored late thanks to an assist by Addie Tice at the 78:34 mark.
Bald Eagle’s record falls to 4-12-1.
Next Game for the Eagles would be a home game versus Penns Valley.
