Bald Eagle Lady Eagles Fall Victim To Central Cambria Rally

Bald Eagle could not hold onto the lead against Central Cambria on Monday and fell 5-4 despite leading by four at one point.

The Lady Eagles were the first to get on the board in the first when Raelee Repasky singled, scoring two runs.

Bald Eagle added two runs in the third. Central Cambria committed an error, making the score 4-0.

Central Cambria flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring five runs on five hits to take the lead, 5-4.

Sierra Albright took the loss for Bald Eagle Area. The starting pitcher went six innings, surrendering five runs (three earned) on 10 hits, striking out six and walking three.

The Lady Eagles tallied 10 hits in the game. Repasky provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Bald Eagle with two runs batted in. The third baseman went 2-for-4 on the day. Sydney Thompson went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Lady Eagles in hits.

Central Cambria collected 10 hits in the game.

Next up for Bald Eagle Area is a game at Bellefonte on Tuesday.
