Bald Eagle wrestlers tops Tyrone in 42-20 contest
WINGATE – Coming off of it’s fourth place performance at the Big 7 Wrestling Tournament, the Bald Eagle Area wrestling team came out and made a statement Tuesday in front off its die hard fans.
In the end, the Eagles would more than double up their opponent, Tyrone, in a 42-20 Mountain League contest.
Starting at 189, Cameron Dubbs muscled out a 4-2 victory over Richard Rawlings
Bald Eagle would get a forfeit at 107 Eden Eveleth picked up an easy win.
At 114, Kayson Tice pinned Miles Weber at 3:01.
Coen Bainey had a convincing win at 127 over Remington Fleck winning by Fall at 0:46.
133-pounder Connor Maney also notched a forfeit win.
Mason Reese picked up the easy win in the 145-pound weight class with a forfeit win.
At 152, Jeffre Pifer pinned Reese Wood at 3:31.
Caleb Close rounded out the scoring for Bald Eagle at 172 with a tough 4-2 decision over Kyle Scott.
