Bald Eagles’ softball team top Bison 6-1

Today the Varsity Softball team traveled to Hyde to take on the Clearfield Bison. Behind a big day at the plate by Autumn Tobias and on the mound by Madison Peters, the Eagles defeated the Bison 6-1. Tobias had her first ever homerun and a single. Peters went the distance in the circle as she gave up 3 hits, had 8 K’s and only one walk. She now has 302 K’s in her career.

Other Eagles getting hits were Mara Hockenberry (single), Peters (single), Katelyn Smitchko (single), and Madison Eckley (single).

The team returns to action on Thursday as they travel to Spring Mills to take on the Penns Valley Rams. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 pm.
