Baublitz sets record at Kevin Dare Indoor Track & Field Invitational and Yeager competes at Liberty University

Juniata’s Senior Garrett Baublitz ran to a 1st place finish and broke the Kevin Dare Invitational mile record on Saturday, January 18 at Penn State University. Garrett took the lead from the gun and never let up running a time of 4:20.36 breaking the old record of 4:20.74. Senior Tad Shellenberger competed in the 400 meters running a time of 55.58 good enough for 18th overall.
Senior Clay Yeager competed on Friday, January 17 at the Virginia Showcase Indoor Track & Field Invitational held at Liberty University. Clay ran the 1600 meter run finishing with a time of 4:43.67. All three boys along with James Hazard will compete again this Thursday, January 23 at State College #2 meet held at Penn State University.
