BEA girls still continues to dominate; drops PO

The undefeated streak continues.

The Bald Eagle Area girls soccer team team aims perfect after a Thursday night 8-0 win over Philipsburg-Osceola.

 It was great to see the team effort tonight and so many girls were able to contribute,” said Bald Eagle Area coach Jared Moore. “They are really playing with confidence.”

The Eagles led in the shots on goal department by a 21-0 margin.

           BEA goalie Rachel Veneziano had no saves.

 Zoey McHenry led off the scoring off an Anna Cingle pass at 4:29.

PO then helped the Eagles with an own goal at 19:45.

Falen McHenry from Sarah Holler upped the lead to 3-0 at 39:13.

Georgia Cingle picked up a goal of her own thanks to a pass from Emily Shiels at 39:49.

Grace Wagner from Falen McHenry added another insurance goal at 56:23

Maura Cingle  joined the scores with an unassisted goal at 63:20.

Sophia Dimitratos kept things going off a Mara Hockenberry pass at 68:15.

Finishing up the scoring for Bald Eagle scoring was Heather Leskovansky assisted by Emily Shiels at 69:30.

BEA improves to 8-0 overall and 6-0 in the Mountain League.

 In JV action, Bald Eagle shut out the Mounties 3-0

 Next Game for BEA will be versus St. Joe’s on 9/21.
