BEA Volleyball remains unbeaten; tops Tyrone

Still unblemished!!

The Bald Eagle Area girls volleyball team continues its march to the post season and another Mountain League title.

Tuesday, the Lady Eagles went up against a fiesta group from Tyrone.

Just like it has done all season, Bald Eagle came out the winners of a 3-0 blanking of their opponents.

Bald Eagle took the match 25-14, 25-17, and 25-18.

Grace Hugar led the way with nine kills and four aces while the Eagles tallied 13 aces overall. Madison Rockey added 29 assists while teammate Lexi Skripek was strong defensively with 12 digs. The Eagles had six blocks tonight as a team, while Taylor Kilmer and Katelyn Smitchco two. Smitchco also added seven kills to the offensive attack.

In Junior varsity action, Bald Eagle tallied a 2-0 win, 25-17 and 25-13.

The Eagles return to action Thursday night at Bellefonte.
