BEA volleyball to meet undefeated ML champion PO in District 6 title game

Onward to a rematch.

It was hard fought effort Friday night for the Bald Eagle girls volleyball team as they went up against Forest Hills in the District 6 Class AA semifinals.

It took a total of five games until the game was decided.

But when the dust settled, it was the Lady Eagles that advanced to the title game where they will face a Betsy tough Mountain League Champion Philipsburg – Osceola team who defeated Northern Cambria in three games to advance as well.

Lexi Skripek was the “Iron Horse” for her team finishing with 57 digs and four aces.

Teammate Kristen Onder finished with 25 digs.

Brynne Bisel had a strong outing as she finished with 14 kills, two aces and 12 digs.

The two teams, who played earlier for the Mountain League title will play Tuesday at a location TBA.
