Bellefonte boys blank Clearfield

Prepping for the post season, the Bellefonte boys soccer team earned a strong victory Clearfield Wednesday.

In the 1st half,  Bellefonte opened the game with its first score at 23:32. Dan Persiko hit a goal off an assist from Harry Horner.

Bellefonte scored again at the 32:00 mark as Shea Chapman notched the team’s second goal off of an assist by Persiko.

In the 2nd half,  the Red Raiders got its last goal from Hayden Walker.

Bellefonte topped Clearfield in shots by 13-9 margin.

“We had quite a few good looks tonight at goal but clearfield goalie was on his game and played really well,” said Bellefonte coach Scott Martz. “We played more aggressive in the 2nd half and tried to control the ball.”

Bellefonte record  improves to 10-1.
