Bellefonte boys LAX notch historical win over Danville

It was a historic step for the Bellefonte boys lacrosse team Monday night as they defeated in Danville in a very close contest 12-11.

It was the first time in team history that the fete was accomplished.

Danville opened the scoring after one with a 3-2 advantage.

But back came the Red Raiders as they tied the game going into the intermission, outscoring Danville 5-4 in the period making it a 7-6 contest.

But Danville recaptured the lead at the end of three, leading 10-9.

But Bellefonte saved the best for last as they took it to Danville in the final period thanks to clutch goals by Seth Chapman.

In the end, the RedRaiders lifted their hands in victory, 12-11.

Leading the way offensively were Seth Chapman as he had seven goals, Gabe Moyer had two as did

Shea Chapman.

Harrison Herr had one.

Chapman was the player of the game as he also had the tying and go ahead goals to lift his team to victory.

Bellefonte is 3-3 on the Season

 Next game is at Lewisburg on Monday May 3.
