Bellefonte boys soccer tops PO

Sweet home victory.

The Bellefonte boys soccer team ended its home campaign with a 4-1 win over Philipsburg-Osceola.

However, the Mounties took the lead scoring first on a goal from Carson Long.

However, Bellefonte would fight right back when Collin Sharp scored off an assist by Noah Gadsby.

The teams went into the half tied at one.

The Red Raiders would take over the momentum from there scoring three times in the second half.

We came out alittle slow to start the game. Had some good shots on goal but were struggling to finish, In the second half our guys up front started to use their speed in getting to goal and kept the pressure in their defense and goalkeeper,” said Bellefonte head coach Scott Martz.  “It was a Good win for the seniors in the last home game.”

Bellefonte started off with a second half goal by Collin Sharp, who hit off an assist by Gadsby.

Brady Werts added his name to the scorebook as he scored off an assist by Ethan Wilson.

Andy Gerasinko finished things off.

Bellefonte outshot the Mounties 18-4 .
