Bellefonte CC battles rival BEA at Governor’s Park

Bellefonte cross country raced against BEA and Altoona this afternoon at Bellefonte’s home course. 

In its match against rival Bald Eagle, the Bellefonte Boys won 15-50.

The Bellefonte Boys fell 31-26 to the Mountain Lions.

The Altoona Boys also defeated the Eagles15-50.

On the girls side, the Red Raiders topped the Lady Eagles 15-50

The girls made it a sweep, topping Altoona 23-35.

The Altoona Girls topped the Lady Eagles 15-50.

Bellefonte paced the boys division as two Red Raiders finished in first.

They were Austin Melius with a 17:58 and Chase Eberling with an 18:09.

On the girls’ side, Bellefonte was led by Kate Rarrick with a 21:32.

Here are the times for our Eagles on the day.

In the Girls Varsity  it was Raelyn McGonigal with a time of 28:48.

While in Boys Varsity action Colton Wagner finished with a 21:33 while teammate James Guiser had a 27:14.
