Bellefonte competes at LHAC XC Championships

The Bellefonte XC team headed out to the Maple Crest Golf Course (Portage) on a beautiful fall day for the LHAC XC Championships.

The Bellefonte girls finished 12^th/15 teams as Natalie Jolley picked up a 10^th place individual medal. Rounding out the top 6 were Emily Moretz in 22:59, Haddie Lutz in 24:14, Aaylyn Cernuska in 25:57, Molly Showers in 26:05 and Megan Showers in 26:30.

The Bellefonte boys finished 3rd/15 teams with 2 individual medal winners with Jonathan Gasper finishing second overall in 15:53 and Maverick Muchmore finishing 13^th in 17:12. Rounding out their top 8 were Carson Fritchman in 17:35, Gunther Kull in 18:38, Ethan Karmelita in 19:37, Kaiden Musser in 20:08, Braeden Strohm in 21:15 and Phoenix Torres in 21:55.

The Bellefonte MS team continued the way to the medal stand with Alissa Kyte-Yech finishing 10^th in 10:11. Rounding out their top 6 were Ava Burns in 11:18, Emma Crater in 11:20, Zoe Musser in 11:32, Sydney Smith in 11:59, and Olivia Menna in 12:45.

The boys garnered an individual medal when Bowen Williams finished 4^th overall in 8:31. Rounding out their top 5 were Grady Stringer in 9:49, Alex Giornesto in 10 flat, Jackson Wells in 10:21, and Austin Brumbaugh in 11:55.

Next up: Bellefonte MS XC will close out their season at the PA MS XC Championships in Lock Haven on Saturday. Bellefonte HS will next compete at the District VI XC Championships next Saturday, 10/25.
