Bellefonte Cross Country sweeps PO and Central

Today the Bellefonte cross country team traveled to Martinsburg to race against Central and Philipsburg-Osceola.

The Bellefonte Girls defeated both Philipsburg-Osceola 23-32 and. Enteral 15-50 en route the victory.

There were 23 girl runners total.

Bellefonte girls times were Amaya Rothrock23:39(2nd place), Amber Shirey 24:03 (3rd place), Haley Herr 25:36 (5th place), Mia Elmore 25:39 (6th place) and Katie Gearhart 25:54 (7th place)

The Bellefonte Boys also were perfect defeating both the Mounties and the Dragons 15-50.

There were 27 runners on the boys’ side.

The Boys’ times were Austin Melius 19:30 (1st place) Chase Ebeling 19:30(2nd place),Eric Bennett 19:32(3rd place), Aaron Carlini 20:33(4th place), Danny Mussett 20:38(5th place), Dillon Sette 20:41(6th place), Daryel Stickles 21:36(11th place), Hunter Lucas 23:34(17th place) and Aaron Johnson 27:17 (25th place).

Bellefonte’s next race is the Ben Bloser Bulldog Invitational in Newville, PA on Saturday Sept 14th.
