It was a tough night on the court for the young Bellefonte girls basketball team Tuesday as they fell to Loyalsock 69-33.
Bellefonte High Scorer in the contest was Maddie Tice with 12.
Bellefonte Double Digit Scorer(s)
for the Red Raiders were Tice with 12 and Mia Johnson’s 10.
Loyalsock High Scorer on the night was Cassie Gee who posted a game-high 21 points.
Loyalsock Double Digit Scorer(s) were Gee with the 21, Allyia Kennedy with 15 and Summer McNulty rounded things out with 10.
“I really liked our defensive effort tonight. Loyalsock is a very good team and they hit a lot of shots. We are continuing to improve as a team,” said Bellefonte coach Marcus Toomer. “Our current record may not show that but we are moving in a positive direction.”
The Current Record for the Lady Raiders is 0-2.
