Bellefonte girls fall to Jersey Shore

The Bellefonte girls fell Wednesday to a tough Jersey Shore team, falling 64-39.

Bellefonte was led by Maria Cotter with 19. She was the only double digit scorer for Bellefonte

Jersey Shore High Scorer was Peyton Dincher with 21.

Teammate Jocelyn McCracken followed with 11.

“A tough 1st quarter doomed us, but the team continued to fight for the rest of the game,” said Bellefonte coach Marcus Toomer. “They did a great job on the defensive end and were aggressive shooting the ball.”

Bellefonte’s current record is 2-19.
