Bellefonte soccer blanks Bearcats
They simply know how to win.
The Bellefonte boys soccer team continued its winning was as it defeated Huntingdon 3-0.
“Overall our guys played really well tonight they passed the ball well and controlled the game. Defense really played poised and did a great job keeping the ball on our offense half the field,” said Bellefonte coach Scott Martz. “1st goal of the game for us was a beautiful cross from Noah Gadsby that Shea put in on a nice header. That got our offense rolling. “
Scoring 1st half started on a goal by Bellefonte’s Shea Chapman at 36:00.
The assist came from Noah Gadsby.
In the 2nd half, Dan Persiko added the a goal at 52:26.
Minutes later Persiko added a second at 55:57.
Bellefonte tallied 25 shots on the night while Huntingdon didn’t pick up any.
Bellefonte is now 8-0 on the season.
