Bellefonte soccer notches convincing win over Tyrone

BELLEFONTE – Busting out the big guns!

Bellefonte’s offense exploded for seven goals in their 7-0 shut out over Philipsburg-Osceola Tuesday.

With the win Tuesday, the Raiders improve to 10-3-1 on the year.

“We moved the ball really well tonight. The midfield did a great job controlling the field and feeding the ball to our guys upfront,” said Bellefonte coach Scott Martz. “We outshot then 24-1 which was a great showing by our defense whiting then down and keeping the ball in our half all night. It was a great team win.

Hayden Walker got the scoring started as he scored off an assist from Mintesinot Borst.

Shea Chapman followed with an unassisted goal.

Andy Geresanko continued the scoring as he notched a goal via an assist by Will Spratt.

Hayden Walker was next on the scoreboard thanks to an assist by Colson Michael.

Walker notched his second goal of the night off an assist by Noah Gadsby.

Andy Geresanko notched a unassisted goal to add to the lead.

Brady Wert scored the final goal of the game for the Raiders en route to the win.
