Bodtorf lifts Huskies to high scoring victory over Chambersburg

Nothing like some last inning heroics to give your team a victory.

MIfflin County slugger Colby Bodtorf hit a walk-off hit to lift his team to a 13-12 win over Chambersburg Tuesday night at the MIfflin County High School Sports Complex.

The game was not for the faint of heart as the Huskies roped out 11 hits.

However, both teams combined on eight errors in the contest.

The Huskies opened the game posting a 5-1 advantage after one.

When the dust settled in the second inning, the Huskies had an 8-2 lead.

But back rallied the scrappy Chambersburg team as it outscored MIfflin County 9-4 to set up the drama in the seventh.

But with one swing of the bat, Bodtorf ended things in walk off fashion.

Rylan Bailey went four innings on the mound but it would be Connor Cherry picked up the win in relief. Bryce Dobson hit a 3-run homer to help the Huskies to victory.
