Central Mountain tennis finishes a D6 runner ups

Two familiar foes met yet again on the tennis court, this time it was for all the marbles, for the District 6 championship.

With Hollidaysburg facing Central Mountain, the match lived up to the hype as the Tigers scraped their way to a 3-2 win over Central Mountain.

Central Mountain got the first win of the day when David Lindsay defeated Nathan Barton 6-1 and 6-0.

Hollidaysburg tied the game when Brian Johnson topped Ethan Hall 6-0 and 6-1.

Jadd Younes rounded out the singles wins for the Tigers as he topped Jackson Warner 6-0 and  6-1.

Hollidaysburg put the game on ice in the number one doubles when Haddy Obeid/Ben Johnson defeated Nate Brinker/Leisher Gugino  6-2 and 6-0.

Central Mountain’s Asher Talbot/Lucas Porter defeated Aragorn Clarke/Trent Gallagher  4-6, 6-1 and 16-14, making it a one match contest.

Central Mountain finished its season with a record of 13-6.
