Central Mountain tennis opens with sweep over Selinsgrove

It was a great way to get started for the Central Mountain girls tennis team as they defeated visiting Selinsgrove 5-0.

In the battle of number one singles,

the Wildcats’ Carolina Carpenetti defeated Fionna Finnerty6-2, 7-5.

CM’s Olivia Anastos defeated Avery DeFazio  in the battle of number twos 6-3, 7-5.

Things continued to roll at number three as Kati Kwiatek topped Emeline Snook 6-1, 6-0.

In number one doubles competition the duo of Caitlyn Dale/Ella Talbot. defeated the Seals McKenna Parker/Natalie Imhoof 6-2, 6-1.

Rounding out the day in number two doubles competition, Claire Long/Ellie Gundy complete the sweep defeating  Maddie Rowan/Murphy O’Brien 6-0,6-0.

Central Mountain hops it’s lead to 1-0 while Selinsgrove drops to 0-1.
