Central Mountain tops Williamsport in tennis action

The Central Mountain girls tennis team found its way back into the winners column Thursday night as they defeated Williamsport 4-1.

In the first set, the Wildcats Kati Kwiatek defeated Ally McCann 6-2 and 6-1.

Claire Long continued the Central Mountain winning as she defeated Kayla Bloch. 6-2 and 6-4.

Williamsport got its only win at the number three spot when Abby Robertson topped Zeta Blesh. 6-0 and 6-2.

Central Mountain swept the doubles competition when Ellie Gundy/ Bree Weaver topped  Emma Campbell/Chloe Campbell 7-6, 2-6 and 10-7 and Teresa Temple/Jaylyn Tripp defeated Natalie Huggins/Emlyn Kinley 6-3 and 7-5 to improve to an overall record of 5-
