Continental Courts holds off Graymont 6-1

The future of Bellefonte baseball and softball is alive and well as Continental Courts and Graymont met up in a coach pitch contest Tuesday.

In a very competitive contest, Continental Courts used a powerful offensive effort and a solid defense to take the contest 6-1.

The Courts pounded out 18 hits in the victory.

Damyan Summer went a perfect 5-for-5 with two RBIs and one run scored.

Giovanni Robinson finished with four hits while teammates Tate Strohm and Blaine Casper tallied three each.

Graymont’s night was highlighted by a home run by Brock Shipe. Shipe also picked up two hits while teammate Grayson Evans picked up three hits.

Rounding out the Graymont hits was Holden Vance.

After a scoreless inning, Continental Courts posted a 4-inning.

Robinson opening things with a single past second.

Ruger Keith followed with single. Blain Miller loaded the bases for Strohm.

Strohm picked up an RBI on a fielders choice.

Casper brought in Miller, upping it to a 2-0 advantage.

Summers roped in the final two runs of the inning with a single that brought in two runs.

Both teams went scoreless until the fourth when Continental Courts added two insurance run.

In the top of the fifth, Shipe blasted a shot into centerfield and hustled his way around the bases to get his team on the scoreboard.
