Crowning Achievement; Houtz helps lead Liberty to CCSA swimming championship

The Liberty University swimming team won the CCSA conference swimming championship at the University of Tennessee this past weekend, scoring a total of 1441.5 points. James Madison was 2nd with 1339.

Former Juniata phenom, Liberty Junior Sydney Houtz made the A finals and a B final, finishing 5th in the 200 backstroke, 7th in the 100 back, and 15th in the 100 fly. She was also on the bronze medal 200 freestyle relay team.

This is Liberty’s 5th consecutive conference championship.
