East Juniata boys lose nail biter to Mifflinburg

The East Juniata boys basketball team lost a nail biter Tuesday as they fell to Mifflinburg 48-46.

With the game tied going into the fourth, the two teams battled back-and-forth offensively.

The Tigers got a 16-point quarter but unfortunately for East Juniata Mifflinburg was able to net 18 to take the contest.

Jake Brackbill had eight of his 14-point effort in the final stanza for East Juniata. Teammate Tanner Barth had six, both from beyond the arc.

Barack led the Tigers offensively with 14 while Dylan Wagner finished with 10.

After the first, East Juniata took the advantage with a 13-11 advantage.

However, Mifflinburg took the second period by an 11-8 margin.

The two were tied at 30 going into the fourth.
