East Juniata boys take Millersburg to the limit

Thursday the East Juniata boys basketball team took their opponent Millersburg to the limit before falling 58-54 in a Tri-Valley League battle.

The Tigers’ Wrett Smith was a force to be reckoned with as he posted a game-high 32 points in the loss. Teammate Bryant Carraasquillo followed up with 14 points. Rounding out the scorers for the Tigers was Sam Kopacki with eight.

Millersburg was led by a trio of scorers. Leading the way was Chase Romberger with 17 while Nolan Schreffler tallied 14. Carter Cass rounded out the double-digit scorers with 12.
