East Juniata boys top feisty Halifax team

The East Juniata boys continue to find themselves in the win column numerous times as of late.

Tuesday, the Tigers faced Halifax in a TVAA contest.

As the Tigers found themselves in a close contest, they found the momentum they needed to finish with the 40-34 contest.

Tanner Barth led the scoring on the night for East Juniata Ashe posted a game-high 15 points.

Early on, East Juniata outscored Halifax 12-9.

Things continued in the right direction for the Tigers in the second as well, posting a 12-4 advantage.

Going into the half, East Juniata held onto a 24-13 lead.

Halifax came out with the momentum in the third and outscored the Tigers 14-9.

In the final stanza, both knotted a seven point effort, giving the victory to East Juniata.

It was a tough night for the Lady Tigers as they fell 44-17 to Halifax.
