East Juniata girls outlasts Juniata 3-0

In the battle for bragging rights of Juniata County. The East Juniata girls soccer team shut out the Indians 3-0.

However, the Indians shut down the Tigers offense to only three on the night.

Juniata Hailey Kepner recorded 11 saves.

EJ Girls got a 2-goal night from Kierstyn Fogle who blasted two unassisted goals, one at 9:05 and the other at 38:19.

Rounding out the East Juniata scoring was Brianna Henry- on an unassisted goal of her own at 14:14.

The Tigers finished with a 13 Shots on goal effort and two keeper saves.

Juniata was limited to just two shots on goal.

East Juniata’s overall record is 7-1

While it remains perfect in the TVL with a record of 7-0.

Next game for the Tigers will be October 8th against Susquenita.
