East Juniata girls top Bald Eagle 36-30

The East Juniata girls battled a short staffed Bald Eagle team Monday night in non-conference action and was able to come out the victors of a 36-30 victory.

Leading the way for the Tigers was Clayre Guyer with 10 while teammate Alyssa Robinson finished with nine.

Maddie Perry led the offense for the Lady Eagles with 13.

Kierra Serb just missed a double digit finish, posting nine points.

East Juniata came out strong defensively outscoring the Eagles 7-2.

Things continued to go East Juniata’s way as it outscored Bald Eagle 10-6 to take a 17-8 advantage into the intermission.

Coming out in the third quarter, the Tigers continued to outscore their opponents, this time posting a 10-7 advantage.

In the final stanza, the Eagles attempted a late comeback but it was too little too late, falling 36-30.
