East Juniata holds onto for 3-point victory over Halifax

The East Juniata girls found itself on the right side of a nail biting battle with Halifax Friday, winning 40-37.
Alyssa Robinson and Paris Feltman both finished with a team-high nine points each.
Teammate Cypress Feltman finished with eight.
Halifax took an early first quarter lead, outscoring the Tigers 13-6.
In the second, the Tigers rallied back itself in the game as they outscored Halifax 9-5, making it a 18-15 advantage for Halifax at the half.
The third quarter proved to be a defensive one but for the second period in a row, the Lady Tigers outscored Halifax. This time East Juniata went for a 10-8 advantage.
But East Juniata’s 15-point effort in the fourth put the team on top when it mattered, winning the contest by three. Halifax could only muster 11 in the last period.
