Football Friday: State College dominates Panthers

The State College football team continues to impress as they improved to 7-1 by defeating Central Dauphin East Friday 39-7.

D’Antae Sheffey dominated the line of scrimmage rushing for 183 yards and finishing with four touchdowns in the victory.

Quarterback Connor Kulka had a strong showing going 11-for-15 for 115 yards. Receivers Daimear Coad and Jake Lukac both finished with receiving touchdowns.

After a seven all tie in the first, the State College defense shut down the Panthers from there as its offense posted 20 points in the second quarter to go into the intermission leading 27-7.

In the second half, the Nittany Lions added 12 point en route to the victory.
